British Guild of Travel Awards dinner
November 2nd, 2014

The 18th Annual Awards Dinner takes place at The Savoy, London. I nominated this year’s charity, TUSK (www.tusk.org) and will be presenting the raffle.

In addition, I nominated the ‘Shark and Manta Sanctuary, Raja Ampat, Indonesia’ for a Tourism Award in the ‘Best Wider World Project’ category. It has already secured ‘Highly Commended’ status but I hope it may top the shortlist.

Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2013

This is one of the longest and toughest challenges undertaken in a classic car. Beginning in China. Traversing the Great Wall. The Gobi Desert. Crossing the Mongolian grasslands. The Russian Steppes. Over the Urals. Into Eastern Europe. Winding through the Alps. To Paris. I'll be teaming up with car designer Mike Reeves in a 1940 Ford Coupe called SHINER.
