Can Zimbabwe rebuild its tourist industry? Zimbabwe was once a big performer in Africa's tourist industry but a decade of economic and political instability damaged this sector. Last month President Robert Mugabe was re-elected in peaceful but disputed elections and the country is now redoubling its efforts to demonstrate it is a secure, safe and enticing place to visit.
